Tetsuya Kiyosawa (Tetsu)

Tetsuya Kiyosawa is from Nagano, Japan, and has extensive experience in the craft brewing industry and related fields in both the United States and Japan.

From 1995 to 1996 he trained under Rob LoBreglio at Great Dane Brewing in Wisconsin, then worked for a California-based brewing equipment manufacturer, supporting equipment installations and providing technical support.

After returning to Japan, he worked as a brewer at Yo-Ho Brewing Company, one of Japan’s leading craft breweries. He then joined Itochu Sanki Corporation, where he helped develop and support strategies for the overseas expansion of Japanese beer companies, including Asahi and Kirin.

For the past 16 years he has worked at Mother Vines Co., Ltd., providing comprehensive consulting on winemaking technology, equipment, and operations to more than 25 wineries.

He is a graduate of the Siebel Institute of Technology in the United States and the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France.
