清沢哲也は、日本・長野県出身。アメリカと日本の両国において、クラフトビール業界および関連産業で豊富な経験を積んできました。
1995年から1996年にかけて、アメリカ・ウィスコンシン州のGreat Dane BrewingにてRob LoBreglioのもとで醸造を学んだ後、カリフォルニア州の醸造設備メーカーに勤務し、醸造設備の導入支援や技術サポートに従事しました。
帰国後は、日本を代表するクラフトブルワリーの一つである株式会社ヤッホーブルーイングにて醸造家として勤務。その後、伊藤忠産機株式会社では、アサヒビールやキリンビールをはじめとする国内ビールメーカーの海外展開に関する戦略立案・支援に携わりました。
さらに、過去16年間にわたり株式会社マザーバインズに勤務し、25社を超えるワイナリーに対して、醸造技術や設備導入、運営に関する総合的なコンサルティングを提供してきました。
また、アメリカの醸造教育機関 Siebel Institute of Technology および、フランスの École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées を修了しています。
Tetsuya Kiyosawa, a resident of Nagano, Japan, has extensive experience in the micro-brewing
industry, as well as related industries, in both America and Japan. He originally trained under Mr. LoBreglio at USGD from 1995 to 1996, after which he worked for a California-based brewing equipment company, doing installations and support. Upon returning to Japan, he worked as a brewer for Yoho Brewing Co., one of Japan’s largest and most successful craft breweries. Mr.Kiyosawa then worked for Itochu Industrial Machinery Corporation, where he helped develop strategies for overseas expansion of domestic beer companies, including Asahi and Kirin. For the past 16 years, he has worked for Mother Vines Co., Ltd., where he provided comprehensive assistance and consultation to over 25 wineries. He is also a graduate of the Siebel Institute of Technology and Ecole Nationale Des Ponts et Chaussées.
