For more than 30 years, GREAT DANE BREWING beers have earned high praise and numerous awards at beer competitions around the world.
Since we began brewing in Japan, we have been steadily adding new awards to that history.
The craftsmanship we've built over the decades and our new challenge here in Akiu, Sendai: we pour both into every glass, and we'll keep brewing beer you'll agree is worthy of the awards.

Barley Wine
2026 Bronze Medal Winner
Named for its "barley wine" character, this high-ABV beer is aged for six months, developing a smooth mouthfeel and deep, rich body. Best enjoyed slowly and savored.
