A traditional beer from southern Germany, brewed with more than 50% wheat malt and Hallertau hops. It pours a pale, slightly hazy yellow, with sweet aromas of banana and green apple, little bitterness, and a soft mouthfeel. Its history is said to date back to the 12th century in what was then the Duchy of Bavaria.
